🐚 ♻️Το γιγαντιαίο κοχύλι που «τρώει» τα ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά!
ℹ️ Ο Δήμος Γεροσκήπου, σε συνεργασία με την Πρεσβεία του Ισραήλ στην Κύπρο και το Κέντρο Μελετών «Ακτή», προχώρησαν πριν μερικές μέρες στην τοποθέτηση μιας οικολογικής καλλιτεχνικής εγκατάστασης, στη δημοτική παραλία Γεροσκήπου, η οποία θα λειτουργεί ως ένας τεράστιος κάδος απόρριψης και συλλογής ανακυκλώσιμων υλικών.

Στο Πολέμι η Επίτροπος Περιβάλλοντος για την προστασία της τουλίπας
Επίσκεψη στην κοινότητα Πολεμίου πραγματοποίησε η Επίτροπος Περιβάλλοντος Κλέλια Βασιλείου στο πλαίσιο συντονισμένης προσπάθειας για την προστασία της τουλίπας Πολεμίου.
Σύμφωνα με γραπτή ανακοίνωση, η Επίτροπος Περιβάλλοντος χθες το πρωί μετά από πρόσκληση του Κ.Σ του χωριού Πολέμι της επαρχίας Πάφου επισκέφθηκε την κοινότητα και ξεναγήθηκε από τον κοινοτάρχη Χαράλαμπο Ιωάννου στους περιφραγμένους τόπους βλάστησης της περίφημης τουλίπας Πολεμιού ( Tulipa agensis ).
Όπως αναφέρεται, προηγήθηκε σύσκεψη στα Γραφεία του κοινοτικού συμβουλίου παρουσία και της συντονίστριας προγραμμάτων του ΜΚΟ ΑΚΤΗ Άννας Τσέλεπου όπου συζητήθηκαν προτάσεις για μία συντονισμένη προσπάθεια προστασίας της τουλίπας του Πολεμίου τόσο από πλευράς της Πολιτείας και αρμόδιων επιστημονικών φορέων όσο και από τοπικούς και Περιβαλλοντικούς φορείς.
Το συγκεκριμένο φυτό συμπεριλαμβάνεται από το Υπουργείο Γεωργίας στο κόκκινο βιβλίο της χλωρίδας της Κύπρου ως “κινδυνεύον είδος”.
