AKTI opens its environmental library to the public
AKTI is opening its environmental library to the public! Students, teachers, scientists, and civilians are invited to access AKTI’s large collection of books, magazines, scientific archives, and newspaper articles.
AKTI Project and Research Centre is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO), located at Nicosia .
AKTI is active in issues related to land and coastal environment and quality of life. AKTI organizes awareness raising campaigns, runs educational and training programs for youth and children, promotes, co-ordinates and participates in projects (research and applied) funded by EU, UN and other international organizations. AKTI has a series of publications relevant to environmental issues and owns a library, open to public, specialised on environmental issues, quality of life and coastal zone management. AKTI is member in several NGO networks.
