AKTI is opening its environmental library to the public! Students, teachers, scientists, and civilians are invited to access AKTI’s large collection of books, magazines, scientific archives, and newspaper articles.

Η ΑΚΤΗ Κέντρο Μελετών και Έρευνας είναι Μη Κυβερνητικός (ΜΚΟ), μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός με έδρα τη Λευκωσία  που δραστηριοποιείται στους τομείς του χερσαίου, παράκτιου και θαλάσσιου περιβάλλοντος και στα θέματα που αφορούν την ποιότητα της ζωής του πολίτη.
Οργανώνει εκστρατείες ενημέρωσης του κοινού, εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για νέους και παιδιά, διεξάγει ερευνητικά προγράμματα, υλοποιεί έργα και προγράμματα που χρηματοδοτούνται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, τα Ηνωμένα Έθνη και άλλους διεθνείς οργανισμούς και ετοιμάζει σχετικές με το περιβάλλον ενημερωτικές εκδόσεις.
Η ΑΚΤΗ συμμετέχει σε Ευρωπαϊκά Δίκτυα ΜΚΟ καθώς και σε δικοινοτικά προγράμματα
