🧹 On May 18, AKTI and Lidl Cyprus teams rolled up their sleeves — together with volunteers — for a beach cleanup near the fishing shelter at the Old Limassol Port.

📦 171.5 kg of litter was collected, 75% of which was PMD, following the international waste recording standards of the Ocean Conservancy.

✅ Since 2021, through the Ocean Literacy Project, AKTI has:

💡 Educated nearly 38,000 students in over 200 schools across Cyprus about the detrimental effects of marine litter and plastic pollution.

🌍 Collected more than 13 tonnes of litter through coastal and seabed cleanups.

💙 Because the ocean’s health is our responsibility.
