As the school year ends, weβre celebrating our Tiganokinisi visits across the island, starting with Nicosia:
π©βπ¬ 6,974 students engaged
π 46 schools visited

Hereβs what made it unforgettable:
π‘ At the Primary School of Klirou, students reinvested Tiganokinisi’s proceeds, replacing all school lights with LEDs and significantly reducing the school’s energy consumption.
β»οΈ At Latsia Cβ Primary School, we found a model of behavioral change: students apply waste separation and composting protocols daily. Their compost area is visually coded with student-created signage, reinforcing best practices and peer learning.
π³ At Sia Primary School, itβs a whole community effort! Families bring oil to school, and the students used the proceeds to design and maintain a small green space.

Thank you, Nicosia, for embedding sustainability into education and everyday life!
