RESIsles Video Competition – Award Ceremony

Over 170 students, teachers, and university students gathered at Psimolofou Primary School to celebrate the winners of the RESIsles Video Competition — young voices who spoke out on climate change through creativity and powerful storytelling! 🌱🎥

The winning videos stood out for their inspiring messages on climate action, democratic participation, and the right to a healthy environment.

👏 Meet the winners:
🏆 Ages 9–12: Students from Psimolofou Primary School
🏆 Ages 12–15: Students from Aglantzia Gymnasium
🏆 Ages 18–25: Eliana Prodromou

🌍 Four European university students — Ivan (Croatia), Mario (Austria), Yana (Bulgaria), and Daria (Romania) — joined the event, bringing fresh perspectives. After watching the winning videos, they sparked powerful conversations with students about how climate change affects daily life — both during their stay in Cyprus and back in their home countries.
