On a sunny Saturday, November 16, 2024, AKTI hosted a hands-on “Train-the-Trainers” workshop for educators at Athalassa National Forest Park, Nicosia, Cyprus.
The focus? Stop-motion animation as a tool for youth empowerment! Educators learned how to create short, artistic, and catchy videos to help students voice their concerns on climate change and environmental degradation, giving them a creative platform for advocacy.

What’s next? The upcoming “Voice Your Views” video competition! Students will have the chance to create stop-motion videos advocating for climate action—a perfect opportunity to put their new skills into practice!
Teachers, encourage your students to get involved! More details on how to participate are coming soon!
